Equalities Resource Pack

Who is it for?

The Equalities Resource Pack is intended for use by any community group in Brighton and Hove that wants to make itself open to a wider range of people. It can also be used to support writing funding bids, for planning activities and for training.

What's in it?

Practical and realistic tips on how to take away the barriers that can stop people joining groups as users, volunteers, staff or management committee members. It suggests ways you can include more people, enabling them to contribute to neighbourhood renewal in your area - and benefit from it.

It also contains information and statistics about groups who may face more barriers when taking part in groups and activities; guidance on venues, buildings, monitoring, recruitment and more; and useful contact details.

How do I use it?

The Pack is not intended to be read cover-to-cover: it's a reference pack, to dip into for the information you need. Use hyperlinks to move quickly between sections. Web links and email links are also included.
