The Environment Steering Group had 15 members with a resident majority. It was responsible for the monitoring and assessment of projects under the NDC themes of: East Brighton A Better Place To Live, A Safer East Brighton and East Brighton Taking Control (click on each heading to find out more about the theme).
The group also looked at any further action that might be required to make sure the aims of the themes are covered This might include the commissioning of new projects where necessary.
