Together, the team is designed to address health inequalities, targeting resources to the most disadvantaged sections of the population. • Programme Management Team
The Programme Management Team is the team that supports the functioning of the NDC programme and includes several teams or individuals: (1) Delivery staff monitor and support projects funded but the NDC and help with fundraising and evaluation of projects. They are usually the first point of contact for a funded project. (2) The Neighbourhood Management (NM) staff help the communities of East Brighton influence the organisations that provide services such as the council, police and providers of health care. The staff help them work together and improve the way they operate at a very local level. The key point about NM is that the approach starts with the concerns of residents and uses these to help organisations change the way they operate. (3) The Equalities Manager aims to support and develop the whole programme and its funded projects to be as open, fair and inclusive as possible. Everyone in the area should have the chance to take part in the regeneration of East Brighton and to benefit from the improvements here. (4) The Customer Relations Manager is responsible for internal and external communications, complaints and the involvement of residents in the NDC programme.
